The talk will present the annotation model used by the Polish Coreference Corpus – a large manually annotated corpus of direct nominal coreference. With a total number of approximately 540,000 segments, it belongs to the largest coreference corpora in the international community. Apart from discussing the scope of annotation and typology of coreferential constructions, the presentation will focus on particular annotation problems and adopted solutions, annotation methodology, corpus representation and using the data in coreference resolution attempts.
