Abstract:

The pharmaceutical industry might not be the first place you’d think of for engineering career opportunities. However, GlaxoSmithKline, a science-led global healthcare company, have many engineers working to develop and manufacture their products, with the aim to improve the lives of patients all over the world. In this seminar, a University of Edinburgh alumni will talk about their experience a student, transitioning to a graduate chemical engineer and the opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate engineers in GlaxoSmithKline.
