Self-Publishing – An alternative route to traditional methods.

Seminar key points:

  1. Introduction – Who I am. Early life and education and what inspired me to pick up a book.
  2. Progression – Explaining the people around me who rekindled my love of books and the subsequent interest in writing (the struggles of finding the right genre).
  3. Writing – My personal process and how I come up with a story. The pitfalls many aspiring writers (Including myself) fall victim to and how I manage to apply self-discipline to progress.
  4. Publication – The options open to those who wish to release their work off their own back, instead of the traditional methods of going to an agent/publisher.

Short Bio:

Graeme J Greenan is an Edinburgh-born author. He’s worked as an electrician with a local authority for nineteen years. After the birth of his daughter, she inspired him to transform his love of reading into writing. In 2018 he released his first novel, The Fall of the Hour, and since then has released two more – Neon Revenge and Scourge of the Vector. He currently resides with his wife, daughter, and baby-on-the-way in East Lothian.
