In the first talk of this renewed ICSA Faculty and Distinguished Seminar Series Bjoern will talk about his research on compiler driven program transformation, where static analyses have been enhanced with or replaced by dynamic information. Bjoern will give examples of research compilers used for program optimisation, parallelisation and just-in-time compilation and show how these different application contexts determine how dynamic information is gathered and incorporated. Bjoern will conclude with an overview of his research vision for compilers operating in an increasingly fast paced environment, where the only constant is change.
