Bio: Sir John Curtice is Professor of Politics, University of Strathclyde, Senior Research Fellow, NatCen Social Research, and President of the British Polling Council, a body that sets standards of transparency for the polling industry. He is a regular researcher and media commentator on social and political attitudes in the UK and, in particular, leads the team responsible for the analysis of the election night exit poll. He also runs two websites: whatscotlandthinks and whatukthinks/eu which provide a comprehensive collection of data on attitudes towards (a) the governance of Scotland and (b) Brexit.
