Cost-sensitive boosting algorithms: Do we really need them?

This talk describes a paper that was published in MLJ and presented in a plenary talk in ECML2016; it received the Manchester School's best paper award for 2016 and the related PhD dissertation received the Manchester School's best thesis award for 2017.
