Abstract: Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is widely used in biomedical field because of its advantages of low cost, fast response, safety, no radiation, and non-invasiveness. This lecture introduces the latest researches on a portable electrical impedance tomography (pEIT) system, including hardware fabrication, image reconstruction algorithms and its accuracy verification. Finally, the biomedical applications of the developed pEIT system were introduced, including cell detection in microfluidics, bio-tissue detection and gesture recognition.
